Matriculation, orientation whizzed past and well, enjoyed myself during the orientation. :)
the people in OG 23 is exactly the same as PDG 23! thats kinda good since we dont have to mix w new ppl right? lets hope our class will become more and more bonded for the upcoming 2yrs! :D

4G's Picnic on 18th Jan!!

The picnic was held at Labrador Park. Hehe, i agree w what sb says(forget who) that ms aggie is asking a group of non-nature lover to go for picnic at a park... lol
Met twin and then went w ms aggie and the rest at 9.15 to go shopping for foods to eat...
brought bread, sausages, tuna, blahblah.... din have to help carry the food tho cause the guys were doing it...
Then trained to Labrador park to meet xh and ros :))
Walk walk into the park until we found a shady place for picnic...
that's where I became food for mosquito...me, twin, xh, ros, elaine, jasmine were all attacked by so many mosquito... its almost like you keep hearing: ehhh, there's mosquito on your leg / hands.... LOL.
yes, i got at least 10plus mosquito bites..... itchy max.
nonetheless, went to eat... bread w sausage and cheese, potatos chip, cherry tomato... and drinks too!
to avoid further mosquito bites, we went to side at the beach and the picnic mat was also full anw... cooling! :)
but i guess it is why our sunburns is so serious? cus we were exposed to the sun very much... oh, ros one is also very bad...
after the little picnic, continue walking... decided to go vivocity!
walked passed many apartments and cruises for 1hr plus until we finally reached vivo... super hot, melting under the sun.... super relieved when we finally see the vivocity buliding!
went to the water park to eat canned food! hehehehe, got waterrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! go walk walk in the water :))
oops, i dropped a longan into the water.................. x:
slack slack abit then talked abit w others. the awkward feeling when we all gather tgt... like nothing to say... ):
then while the rest played murderer, we decided to go buy gongcha! okay, maybe i wont drink Lemon w Aiyu again... not as nice as the first time i drank....
then go pastamania and gossip lol. :)

TAIWAN DAY 7&8 :DDD

DAY 7, 28/12 (aka the most packed day! let me count, around 8 places to go)

Early in the morning, took a cab to the train station. yes, our bus left without us the night before. haha, it's because that particular route is very dangerous so we were arranged to take the train back to taipei.

Then, took the train! Cool, tho its not a bullet train. Loved the scenery! Camwhored w siblings, super funny, but too bad cannot put ))):

After th one hr train ride, we travelled to a TienLu handicraft centre. Means is those kind of fengshui stuffs.

hehe, went for fortune telling.

NEXT, is lunch!! A totally artistic and cool restaurant. i really cant describe the inner design. let the picture explain.

thats where we ate!

Food was okay, rice w potato, yummy. then got good food like meat, fish, etc. quite nice!

NEXT: TAIPEI 101!

Tourguide says its a pity if we didnt went up to th 87th floor. cost NT400, around 20SGD

but th point is that we werent give enough time, only 1h. Plus the queue was super scaringly long, yes, alot of mainland visitors....Means by the time we reached the top, it is almost time to leave alrdy. so we ended up walking around 101. But the entire place is full of high class shops, seriously!! D:

so i went to the page one bookshop, lol!

btw, i love my shoes, rofl! x)

after that, is to watch shuaige lol! HAHA, it is actually the Matyr Shrine. Means you get to watch the soldiers marching

BTW, they are really tall yaknow? between 182-188! Plus they are the fittest team, so cool!

haha, the way they march is really cute. Robotic, and slow, haha.

Next location is the ShaoZu centre to make us buy royal jelly. hehe, but none of us brought. too expensive.

okay, its doesnt look much a night market bcus its had renovated and part of the food centre moved to a basement market since 25 dec.

YAY, I ATE THE 豪大大鸡排! yes, i queued for it, haha, long queue but its actually quite fast :D

shopping time! actually i just brought a brown sling bag. but happy tho! :)

AFTER DINNER

DANSHUEI OLD STREET!

go walk walk around, brought some food etc. not much pictures thr.

then, Fisherman Wharf. i think that where the Meteor Garden was flimed, not that i watched it.

Its was really very dark so not much too see. i guess the place would have been much prettier in the day. Plus photos taken at there was too dark , not nice. so i wont be uploading.

So, finally we went back to hotel!

Wrote the 天灯! :D yay, some part of it was completed, grateful!

so set off the lantern.

Bye bye lantern!! :D

Back to hotel at 11 plus! the lastest day to end all itineries. so tired liao but still have to unpack everything and pack again so that i can stuff everything in there.

when i already got the sleeping mode, but there is still one more thing to do:

HOT SPRING! INSIDE OUR HOTEL, PRIVATE ONE, HAHA!!

cool max right? the tv is actually to keep you awake.

abit hot, but still acceptable!

then, by the time i bath finished, it was alrdy 12.

watched the repeat of YLBFB!

at around 1am, finally get to sleep for awhile.

then at 3.45, the morning call came! ):

i still want to sleep, super tired, yawn!!

DAY 8, 29/12 : GOING HOME!

Then dragged all our luggage to hotel lobby at around 4.30!

Cold morning....

slept on the bus ride to Taoyuan intl airport, around 1hr.

reached the airport!

had breakfast(sandwiches & soya milk), packed by the hotel. ate and waited to check in.

Then around 7.40, boarded the plane!!

No window seat either.... )): Cy gets it, no fair. But at least can see the window, rofl.

watched crazy, stupid, love. but halfway thru, very tired and fell asleep.hehe.

Finally, reached SG at 12 noon!

TAIWAN DAY 5&6

OMG, damn nervous. goodluck tomorrow!!!

continuing about tw trip: i guess i better finish off my trip account cus it's far too long alrdy.

DAY 5, 26/12
CIJIN ISLAND! it is an island which need to take a ferry over, which is only 5min! LOL. there's a beach there, quite pretty :) and it is one of the most hottest day of the entire trip, blazing sun!
sadly, this is also the day where i started feeling abit unwell, no much appetite after that...

walked around the beach and surrounding street there.
then take ferry back.

LUNCH was dk where, lol. the special thing was that got 7 main course, in addition you get to order anything from the menu, buffet style. but the thing is that after the 7dishes, you're already so full! lol. the dongpo meat is quite good and i love the caramel pudding! :D
after bus is just super long bus journey...
then also bring us to a place to buy fruits like custard apple. YES, brought one box!
reached hotspring hotel at around 5! of course, went for hotspring! one of the pool is super hot, so i stayed around the less-hot one :D
dinner w tourmates, then walked around hotel and end of day!

DAY 6, 27/12

Travelled to a farm 吉蒸牧场. loved the nature. saw some animals like camel, wild boars, ponies, etc. expect for the animal smell x.x

also lunch there - MILK HOTPOT!!

YUMMY, tho there's alot of vegetables...

NEXT is JADE DIY!!
Pick a piece of jade, then make it shine.. hehe, i anyhow choose, guess what, my jade is the shape of taiwan map, lol.

hehe, im so serious at work. to speak the truth, i didnt do much. there are 5 stations, of which at every one, there are so professional ppl to help you so i leave most of the job to them , lol. oh, th jade is super hot when just done...
in the end, made my jade into a necklace! :D

next is TAROKO GORGE! :DD

NIGHT was at a new hotel in hsinchu! Opened in Oct. and this hotel is very clean and nice too. got a balcony!
Dinner was quite good, in my opinion, i enjoyed the most, lol.

TAIWAN DAY 3&4

DAY 3, 24/12
buffet breakfast everyday.
then 1st destination: 日月潭 sun moon lake

not much things there, just walk around. and no, didnt get to go on the yatch.
then went for lunch: Aboriginal taste cuisine. food was normal.
then we went to the Peacock Garden.pity that it was not the season to see the peacock open their feathers.

and next is 文武庙. hehe, go there and pray :) and their method of praying is abit different. yeah, hope that my wish will come true.

after this is another of my favourite: FENGJIA NIGHT MARKET!
so much to eat and so much to shop!!
And the night market was super crowded, prob its xmas eve.
I ate until so full thr. tried 大肠包小肠 after Q-ing for 1/2 hr. th taste was just okay, not very exceptional.
and tried 冰糖葫芦! NICE :))

then ate th 耗煎. almost like sg's except got a sauce, which i still find it okay. and the oyster are bigger than sg's.

of course, also tried many other little snacks which i alrd cannot remember clearly the names, LOL.
then SHOPPING!!
brought a pair of covered shoe, brown coloured. only $290 NT, which is about S$13, cheap right?! super happy! my sis also brought a pair of boot(kinda), same price! and then i wore that shoe th following day, haha!
also brought a shirt for NT175, which is 7plus SGD! :D

YAY, SHOPPING DONE!

DAY 4, 25/12
MERRY XMAS. but i must say you cannot really feel the obvious xmas mood in taiwan. except for some decoration in shopping centre, cause taiwanese place more emphasis on chinese traditional events.
now we have already travelled to the more rural areas in tw. so we visited the Paddy Rice Museum to DIY our own scarecrow!

CUTE NOT? :DDD but i not really satisfied w his/her pants. not very pretty. and im not very creative so i think i could have done better.

also, get to see th "popping" of rice! the sound is really deafening, lucky i alrd knew to expect it. then each one of us got one packet of the rice. :)
the store in the museum is really cute and well decorated, got this cute plushie: i like!

and we brought icecream too, rice and chocolate flavoured. looks the same on the outside, and i cant really taste th rice in it..

Omg, i actually forget one more place that i actually went to!!
So it's actually 汉神小巨蛋 located in Kaoshiung. its actually a shopping mall, not the famous concert hall.
free activity and lunch by ourselves. btw, there are alot ppl! so ate at a food court, no choice, see got seat then sit and eat alrd, lol. but food is quite nice. DanDanMee w sides dishes. Very full!
then shop alil at supermarket.. and walk around, brought masks lol!
the clothes are quite expensive, cus its a shopping centre yeah...

in the afternoon, bus-ed again to 龙虎塔. must walk in from the dragon mouth then exit from the tiger's mouth. i forget the reason why :o

must put th tiger's teeth too! forget why also........

next stop is 六和夜市！

this night market is much much smaller compared to the previous one. cause there's only 2 street. one way in , the other out. and there are less shopping stores...

still, i ate some awesome food like the fried hotdogs, smelly tofu (still okay :D ), baked corn, etc...

i lol-ed when i see this picture. not sure what i was so interested in.

after leaving this night market, we went back to hotel first , then to RUI FENG NIGHT MARKET, which is close to our hotel. recommended by our tour guide, he told us that th night market was popular among th locals unlike leoho which is a tourist night market. indeed, it is crowded. oh, i like AIYU LEMON DRINK ! :DD

buy shirts again! then go back hotel.

END OF DAY 4! :D

haha, i have decided to summarise my taiwan's trip! :D

DAY 1, 22/12/2011

Arrived at changi t1 at around 10, check in, blahblah. then went to the vip lounge for some foods and relaxation, cool! :D

inside the lounge, haha, im eating!

our plane! :D

i was so sad, cause no window seat. watched captain's america, great movie!! :D

After a 4hr plane flight(delayed), finally reached taoyuan intl airport at 7pm. oh, the sun sets at around 5, so when we reached, it was pitch dark and raining too, didnt get to see much of taipei city... ):

omgomg, flh was there to welcome me! LOL, i looked so -.-

and it was kinda cold when we reached. actually it was only cold when it rains, which is basically th first 2days, the rest were okay, except for occasional rains.

then, bus-ed to XIMENDING!

bytheway, the entire itinearies was reversed(means 7th day become 1st day) bcus hotel was overbooked. eee, if not will have more time to shop at XMD. only gave us 45min there to eat and shop. NOT ENOUGH TIME! greatest regret: never get to try the famous 阿中面线 D:

but managed to squeeze enough time to buy one shirt lol!

next stop is back to brother hotel for a good night rest and this ended day1!

DAY 2, 23/12

went to YEHLIU to see 女王头. we were told that subjected to more erosion, the neck was be too thin and the entire head will drop off. so we ought to take photo with it or we may not be able to see it the next time we visited. this hence explains the supersuper long queue plus there were some inconsiderate ppl who took a freaking long time to take one picture.

oh, and i saw some potholes which reminds me of olvl geog ! LOL

then it suddenly rained! need wear those raincoats, which made us looked like rubbish collecters! so cute, haha!

next location:

JIUFEN OLD STREET!

super crowded, lots of people. walk walk & eat eat is what we did.

oh, the 芋头粉圆 is awesome! i like!

and also ate 牛肉面， quite nice too...

squeezed into the 阿信的店 to buy food like pudding etc. so crowded that i cant even enter initally. cause all the tourists go there to buy food to bring back. plus they offered delivery service to your last hotel.

next stop is my favourite: LEOFOO THEME PARK!!

Contradictary to what i tho, it was not crowded at all! very cool cause we didnt even have to queue to go on a thrilling ride (yes, unlike genting whr u can queue 1h plus) the only disadvantage is that the ride is so empty, that we are the few on it, rofl. talk about screaming alone on the ride, boring. lol

and i forgot to mention, it was SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS themed! :DD cute!!

FLUME RIDE!

haha, kinda scary when you're about to being dropped. it's like you will fall directly down. and , it is really high. dropped twice!!

SPLASH, ALL WET!

also played pirate ship!

see it's almost empty.

also played a few more like roller coaster.

a bit regret is that there were still many thrilling rides but i dont dare to go on some....

the park closed at 5, so early right.): because the sky is alrd dark.

then dinner with rest of tour mates.

overnight at safari themed hotel. super cool and the best hotel! th zoo is just outside your hotel's window!

double storey w 3 queen sized beds!! :D

and there are 2 toliets and 2 bathrooms, nice!

oh, and watched 大学生了没，got 小鬼 :D

and this ended day2.

yes , i love the THEME PARK. but th weather is such a spoiler. rain abit here and there ): making some rides closed temporary. like my water ride ! ): (yknow, th same one in escape which i rode w twin last time) hey, i was almost alrd at the front of the queue leh! but then they closed it for awhile and i was lazy to queue again after that...... sad ttm
but i loved SPINNER, PIRATE SHIP, BUMPER CAR & EURO EXPRESS! :DD

DANCE CAMP 2011 22&23 Nov! :DDD
YAY.
th camp was fun! i think the organisers put in quite alot effort in planning, so kudos to them :) & its th first time i am part of the facilitator for some games in camp (noob i know -.-), so it's great! :D

1st game: AMAZING RACE!
team hello kitty w xunlin, faith & joanne. nice teamwork, and yeah, we won 1st prize! :D
then prepared for night thrill! watched wishing staircase w the sec4s, its a thriller movie... i din want to cause unnecessary shock to myself esp when im staying in school, so i covered my eyes at the scary part, lol! must admit some parts are scary. then make me v.scared about the night thrill. NIGHT THRILL ,as it turned out, was FUN! :D not as scary as i thought, since i already know all the ghost's location thus was mentally prepared and did not get much a shock XPP
and we also hold the farewell party for sec4s(th third one? haha) PIZZA!
the ring that juniors gave to us were v.pretty! :DD
RUNNING MAN is a cool game! :D
basically we catchers have to find some places to hide our masking tape, and i must say, we are too smart to think of all the super inconspicuous place that it was so difficult to find, HAHA :P

okay, this is bascially th sum up of camp, i may have left out some parts.... anw, dance camp is really enjoyable overall.
oh and i must say, the classroom floor is really hard! my back hurts! )): okay, i have aged, LOL!

yes, i finally updated! :D
its teachers' day today!!! :D so HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!
i havent been giving tchers any gifts since sec sch, and this time round, we gave present to our tchers as a class. quite nice lah i think.

played caterpillar today(the only game i played lol) in simple words, its like tying everyone's legs tgt. & I proudly announce that we won!!! :D haha. tho i feel deeply apologetic towards xh cus i keep stepping on her, paiseh! jocelyn and i very funny, hais, lacked coordination, lol.
i think the hogwarts express is a quite cool game but i dont want play, haha..

the concert was enjoyable for most performance.

lunch at breeks! omg, the food thr super expensive! end up me eating main course, xh n twin share fondue, ros watching. the char grilled chicken was super large size. but tasty tho. except... for the vegetable! very "raw" and taste bland x:
then proceed to pastamania for second serving , justkidding. but thr's alot ppl tday!

reached sch around 7.20 and headed to locker(: fill in white card, i actually put my birthdate at the expiry date thr, so took another. o.o set off. reach spore custom, stuck thr... sad lor, cus of my wet thumb -.- reach sedili, place is quite nice la... jiamin is my roomate (: but sadly both of us are scare at night, LOL.
lunch then went for th walk. alot of rocks. n super tiring... ohh, got alot of mosquito bites too..... x.x
at night went for kampong walk.... brought 2 bar of chewing gum...
supper, then rehersal for th sch visit...

DAY ONE: aka waiting day
set off at 7 in th morning. then stop at yongpeng for lunch.. reached genting at 2smth. waited for such along long time for hotel room. 5 oclock then check in! imagine that, so late. meanwhile, shopp a lil and brought starbucks coffee :) nice.
then dinner at genting hotel. waited for lik 1/2hr. hah, we were so hungry we glup down our food in 15min. LOL.

DAY TWO.
free breakfast with th hotel room. super full lehh.. since its buffet stle
